If you’ve ever played football in the rain, you know it’s basically survival mode.
The ball is heavier, the pitch is slippery, and every tackle feels like a slide from a waterpark.
So naturally, it rained HARD on the day I planned to test my new boots.
The moment I stepped onto the field, I heard the squish under my feet and thought, "Yeah… this is gonna get chaotic.”
Warm-up was okay. But the real surprise hit during sprint drills. While everyone else kept slipping like they were running on soap, my boots stayed locked to the ground like they had suction cups.
One teammate looked at me and yelled, "BRO, HOW ARE YOU STILL STANDING?”
During dribbling drills, the ball stuck to my foot surprisingly well. The upper stayed light, even soaked. No water-logged, heavy feeling.
Of course, I still slipped once… but only because someone pushed me.
Totally not my fault.
By the end, I was drenched, covered in mud, but honestly impressed. Rain training usually ruins your mood—but this time, it was weirdly fun.
